Last weekend, we went up to Williams, AZ in the new camper (again). We needed to get out of the Valley because of the extreme heat. We ended up staying at a KOA for the first time and it wasn't that bad. There wasn't as much privacy or trees, but it was a very enjoyable time especially in the 70-80 degree weather versus 115 degrees.
*I forgot my shoes so LONG STORY short, I ended up with cowboy/camo/slipper boots that I wore around camp. They were super comfy but looked hiliarious. Dave now calls them my official camping boots.
While we were up there, we decided to go to the Grand Canyon since we've only been there once. Surprisingly, it was free for the weekend because "Obama says so" (this was the answer we got from the Forest Ranger).
We had a great time walking around and especially watching people's reactions to Rocco's boots. We definitely didn't want to leave the cool weather. Why did I agree to get pregnant so I was big during the summer? hmmm!
