So much has happened already and it's only been eight weeks. Yep! I'm officially EIGHT weeks pregnant. I'm slowly getting my energy back. No one ever told me how tired I would feel in the very beginning. I could barely make it through a work day; every day I'm home (Saturday, Sunday, Monday) - nap time was at 1:00pm sharp! And bedtime was no later than 8; most nights I was out by 7:15am.
I am proud to announce that I went to bed at 9:00pm last night. However, I did take a 2 hour nap. I would like to mention that I worked out at the gym right after I woke up though. See, I'm totally getting my energy back!
We got to see our little PEANUT! I had my first ultra sound with Dr. Sawyer (who we absolutely love - he's amazing!) on Friday. I was nervous since it wasn't going to be a tummy ultra sound - but it was totally fine and painless. We could see the little heart beat beating - a true blessing from God. I might not have a belly yet, but there is something in there - and that something is another love, MY BABY! Dave was super excited as he sat next to me making jokes whenever he could. I just love my family.
Oh! One last thought - morning sickness. So far, I've been super blessed and *supposedly, I'm 2/3's of the way through until the safe zone. And the record so far - one morning of throwing up, and two of dry heaves. Not bad, if you ask me. And I totally felt awesome afterwards.
Everything is going well - I'm just eagerly waiting for my belly :).
