"The baby looks good!"
Just the words I was hoping to hear :). Dave and I went to see Dr. Sawyer today for my 11-12 weeks check up and everything looked good. My weight is back up and I weighed exactly what I did last time.
Dave and I went back to the patient room to wait for Dr. Sawyer. We didn't wait long until Dr. Sawyer came storming in after a busy morning. He was a little behind and just got back from vacation so he spoke fast while he did his thing. He squirted some warm jelly on my belly, tried listening for the heart beat - but it's not loud enough yet - so then he just went right to the ultra sound.
The yolk sack is almost gone. We could totally see the little head and the little body - it's a baby! No more worries here - God has amazing plans for this little one.
Now, I'm so ready for that baby belly! It's like I envy any woman that walks past me with a belly, holding it and rubbing it often with a small smirk on their face. I know it will soon come and I'll probably want it to go away, but I'm ready NOW!
